How to Help

Miami Valley Housing Opportunities has been able to help so many people in need in Montgomery County thanks to the funding and hard work provided through community partners and volunteers. All cash and in-kind contributions to MVHO are fully tax deductible. Please contact Sue Slouffman at sue@mvho.net or (937) 263-4449, extension 401 for a receipt. All contributions are appreciated. In addition to financial assistance, MVHO is always in need of the following items to assist persons sleeping on the streets or moving to MVHO housing:

New sheets, blankets, pillows and sleeping bags
Bus tokens
Grocery or restaurant gift certificates
Nonperishable foods
Large coats and sweatshirts
New socks, underwear and gloves
Alarm clocks
New or gently used basic kitchen items
Soap, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap
